OET stands for Occupational English test. The OET learners have the English language along with clinical communication skills. It has four parts namely listening, reading, writing, and speaking.

What is the eligibility of OET? 

Nurses looking forward to working in the health care sector must have a B score in Reading, listening, and speaking subsets and C+ in the written part.  

How to prepare for OET exams?

  2. Know your weaknesses in speaking, and writing with grammar and vocabulary check 

  3. Know the assessment criteria

  5. Apply when you are ready for OET. 

How to register for OET? 

  1. You can register through the OET registration portal online 

  2. Have a profile photo, document id, and a valid email address 

  3. Read through the terms and conditions and I agree with the button 

  4. Choose a username, password, and security question for your account and complete registration before accessing OET accounts. 

What is the overall scoring of the OET exam? 

The total score is 500 and based on this marks and grades are assigned such as:

450-500 

Grade A     High level of Language proficiency 

350-440 

Grade B 

300-340 

Grade C+ 

200-290 

Grade C 

100-190 

Grade D 

0-90 

Grade E      Unable to understand basic phrases
